Terms and Conditions for WA Pest Consultants Pty Ltd Pest Control Services
Introduction
Welcome to WA Pest Consultants Pty Ltd, your professional pest control service in Perth,
Western Australia. In these Terms and Conditions, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to WA Pest
Consultants Pty Ltd, while “you” and “your” refer to our clients.
Service Agreement
We offer pest control services including inspection, treatment, and prevention. The specifics of
these services will be detailed in your individual service agreement, in compliance with the
Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
Payment Terms
A detailed quote will be provided for our services. Payment is due upon completion of the
service unless otherwise arranged. Late payments may incur additional charges.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring access to your property at the agreed times. Please follow any preparatory instructions provided prior to treatment.
It is the client’s responsibility to tarp/cover any plants/vegetables that are eatable prior to the technician arriving on site, spray drift can be unavoidable due to weather conditions and the client is responsible for covering plants that are edible.
Where payment hasn’t be made by the due date, this shall void any warranty for service indefinitely and may be subjected to interest, legal practitioners fees and lodgement fees.
“zero lot boundary walls” properties are unable to be treated, therefore WA Pest Consultants are not liable for termites entering into a structure through a zero lot boundary wall. German cockroaches are not warrantied with General Pest treatments.
The WA Heath department (pesticide safety) has a requirement that the property be vacated for 3 hours post treatment (min 8 hours if there are people that are pregnant) which allows the products to dry, the clients acknowledges this when booking a job.
Flea treatments – Unless previously arranged and agreed upon, free service periods remain with the original customer and may not be transferred to new occupants of the treated premises. Warranty shall be subjected to having carpets steam cleaned prior to pest treatment being conducted.
Clients acknowledge that rodent baiting may lead to deceased rodents in roof cavities, under house and wall cavities. Wa Pest Consultants Pty Ltd is in no way liable to remove carcasses under a rodent baiting job. There will be additional costs for carcass removal and odour removal. Any warranty visits will only occur once the invoice has been settled in full.
Clients acknowledge that termites can enter through expansion/contraction of a concrete slabs around services – therefore WA Pest Consultants Pty Ltd are not liable for damage caused by termites entering through these entry points.

Service Limitations
Our services aim to manage and control pests but cannot guarantee complete eradication.
Some pests or areas may be outside our service scope.
Warranties and Guarantees
We guarantee the effectiveness of our treatments within a specified period. This guarantee does
not cover re-infestation or pests not included in the original agreement, in line with the
Australian Consumer Law.
Limited Liability for Non-Target Species
While we exercise utmost care in our services, there remains a risk to non-target species. We
require your cooperation in protecting these species during treatment. Our liability in the event
of unintentional harm is limited, recognising the inherent risks associated with pest control
treatments.
Exclusions to Warranty
1. All treatments exclude warranty for flying insects.
2. No warranty for timber borers, chemical delignification, and Bio Security risks.
3. “General pest treatments” exclude warranty for termites, German cockroaches, fleas,
bedbugs, and booklice.
4. We are not liable for damage to unmarked services during perimeter treatments.
5. All bifenthrin treatments exclude warranty for ants, cockroaches, fleas, booklice, and
bedbugs.
Pet and Environmental Safety
We advise removing sensitive pet items from areas subject to residual pesticides. Liability for
secondary poisoning due to rodent baiting is excluded.
Indemnification and Dispute Resolution
You agree to indemnify us against claims resulting from improper preparation or misuse of our
services. Disputes will be resolved through negotiation, with unresolved matters subject to the
jurisdiction of the courts in Perth, Western Australia.
Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. Late termination may result in a
cancellation fee.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act
1988 (Cth) and our privacy policy.
Amendment Clause
These terms may be amended, with such amendments effective upon posting on our website or
direct communication to you.
Severability
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining sections
will continue to be valid.
Late Payment Consequences
Failing to pay the bill by the due date will void any warranty period for service and may be
subjected to interest charges accruing daily.
